Mommy Madness Season 3

I like to think of myself of a guru who keeps up with everything the Web has to offer in the mom space, but I must say, I had no idea about the Mommy Madness webisodes on LifetimeTV.com. Guess I'm not a guru after all.

The weekly series "Mommy Madness" stars Angela Hoover, a mom, comedian and part-time bookkeeper who just moved to Vegas with her two small children and lovable husband! I watched nearly all of the archived videos and they are quite funny, light-hearted, and entertaining. Take a look:

Buy Holidays Gifts + Help 350,000 Victims of Violence

Let Hope Shine!
I absolutely hate thinking about child abuse because I cannot imagine an adult who could harm a child. But as much as I hate to think about it, I do realize that tens of thousands of children are abused each and every day and it breaks my heart. At least there are organizations like Safe Horizon that care enough about these innocent children to work tirelessly to save them from harm.

This fall, Safe Horizon launched Hope Shining - a national initiative to raise awareness of child abuse. In addition to Hope Shining, Safe Horizon also created the Hope Shop where you can purchase holiday gifts such as their hope bracelet, silk tie, magnet, or Hope Shining silver necklace at their Hope Shop where 100% of the proceeds go directly to funding programs for children who are abused.

Help a child who needs you. Visit www.hopeshining.org.

Nine Bird Publishing Helps Create Unforgettable Moments

If you are anything like me you read a lot of mom blogs and probably have noticed a slew of companies that offer photo cards for the holidays. Photo cards do indeed make perfect holiday gifts especially for distant relatives you don't get to see as much as you'd like.

There is a company I think you should definitely take a look at this holiday season: Nine Bird Publishing. I am sitting here holding samples of their work and I can sum up the quality of the cards in one word: impeccable. The photos are crisp, flawless, and clear and the original designs are delightful.

Although the holidays are quickly approaching there is still time to get your photo cards complete and sent out to relatives. You can print your photo cards from Nine Bird Publishing at Sam's Club Digital Photo Center by visiting www.samsclub.com/photo. In addition, you can print photo cards for other occasions as well such as Kwanzaa, New Year's, Valentine's Day, and for weddings.
